About this item

  • TRUE FIRST PERSON HUNTING FOOTAGE: The camera sits on the bow itself, so it aims exactly where you aim and records the draw, the release, and the recovery from your point of view. You film it yourself, with no second person behind a camera, on a bow camera mount that weighs 1.07 oz (30.2 g). Expect some movement at release like any bow mounted camera, and leave HyperSmooth or Action Mode on to smooth it out.
  • LIGHT ENOUGH TO LEAVE ON, COVERED FOR LIFE: Every Stabowmount is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, which is more than most of this category states at all. Injection molded ABS keeps the whole kit at 1.07 oz (30.2 g) with the thumb screw and nut, or 0.68 oz (19.2 g) for the mount by itself, so your bow balance stays where you tuned it.
  • CHECK YOUR STABILIZER THREAD LENGTH FIRST: This archery camera mount adds 0.25 in. (6.4 mm) of thickness where the stabilizer meets the riser, so your stabilizer rod needs at least that much extra thread to still bite fully into the bow. Short threaded studs and some harmonic dampers do not leave enough thread engagement, and those setups will not fit. We would rather tell you up front than have you find out in the driveway. If you measure wrong, get in touch and we will make it right.
  • NO THREAD SIZE TO MATCH: The mount itself has no threads. Your stabilizer's threaded rod passes through an open slot and screws into the bow, clamping the mount between the riser and the stabilizer, so the bushing spec on your bow does not matter. Shooting without a stabilizer? Supply your own bolt through the same slot and it mounts the same way.
  • SNUG BY DESIGN, WITH A STANDARD GOPRO THUMB SCREW: The camera fingers are cut tight on purpose and loosen slightly as they break in, so the first insertion should feel firm. A standard GoPro nut and thumb screw are included; hand tighten the stabilizer against the mount, then snug the thumb screw by hand until the camera stops moving. Recheck both after your first few shots and again at the start of each season.
