- Note: Do not push the ejector pin all the way into the chain link as this will damage the chain. It is better to remove the chain before the thimble has been pushed out about 1/2 way.

It is totally hassle-free for cutting chain. It is the perfect tool for cutting chain.Disassembly sequence:1. Place jaws of tool over roller with push-out pin centered on chain pin.2. Tighten down by turning top handle clockwise until chain pin loosens.3. Do the same on second pin freeing link plate from from the pins.4. And then, the node of chain pin will be disassembled.5. Length: Make sure you have ordered enough chain, any extra links can always be removed.Tips: Do not run the chain too tight, it will grind the sprocket teeth down in a short period of time.
