15 Inch Baguette Proofing Basket Set of 2 for Sourdough & French Bread

About this item

• CRAFTED FROM SOLID RATTAN CORE - These bread proofing baskets are woven from rattan harvested in Vietnam, debarked to the inner core and smoothed, with no paint or dye. The breathable rattan wicks surface moisture as your dough rises, giving a drier skin and a crisper crust. Proof in the basket, then turn the dough out onto a baking sheet, stone, steel, or baguette pan to bake.
• AUTHENTIC SLIM BAGUETTE PROFILE, 15 INCHES LONG - At 2.75 inches wide, narrower than a standard 3.5-inch banneton, these are purpose-built to hold a baguette's shape as it rises. The basket sets the shape; you set the size. Proof 300g to 550g of dough, with eBook recipes across the range. Every loaf fits a standard baking sheet, stone, steel or baguette pan, so no oversized equipment is needed.
• REMOVABLE COTTON LINERS + NO-STICK METHOD - Fitted liners lift your dough out cleanly. For wet or high-hydration sourdough, dust the liner with rice flour before the dough goes in. Rice flour doesn't absorb like wheat flour, so the dough releases instead of gluing itself down. Wash cold and air-dry flat to keep the fit true.
• RECIPE EBOOK INCLUDED - Step-by-step baguette formulas in both classic yeast and natural sourdough, with proofing times, shaping technique, and scoring guidance. Written for the baker making their first baguette and the one refining their hundredth.
• SET OF TWO FOR BAKING AND SHARING - Two baskets means two baguettes from one batch of dough: one for your table, one to pass along. Beautifully packaged and designed with care, this banneton proofing basket set makes a meaningful gift for bread bakers, with the guidance included to make the first loaf a good one.
