About this item

• FAST & EASY INSTALLATION WITH NO PERMANENT VEHICLE MODIFICATION: Enjoy true plug & play installation with this Dongar Technologies dash cam power adapter. Plugs directly into your Subaru or Toyota’s OEM 3-pin connector in the rearview mirror with no cutting or splicing. Delivers a clean factory look without a traditional dash cam hardwire kit. Designed for Subaru BRZ (2013+), Toyota GR86 (2013+), Subaru Crosstrek (2013-2017), and other select pre-2014 Subarus. Verify OEM connector before ordering.
• COMPATIBLE DASH CAMS AND USB-POWERED ACCESSORIES: This Dongar dash cam adapter works with USB-powered dash cams as well as accessories like radar detectors and GPS units. Devices requiring barrel jack or RJ11 connectors can be powered using Dongar USB-C to DC or USB-C to RJ11 converter cables (sold separately), offering more flexibility than many dash camera hardwire kit solutions.
• COMPATIBLE SUBARU & TOYOTA VEHICLES – VERIFY BEFORE ORDERING: Examples of compatible vehicles include select Subaru and Toyota models such as Subaru BRZ (2013+), Toyota GR86 (2013+), Subaru Crosstrek (2013-2017), and other select pre-2014 Subarus (trim & model years vary). Please review the compatibility chart or contact Dongar support before purchase.
• EXTENDED COMPATIBILITY WITH 3-PIN CONNECTORS: This dash cam power adapter may also be compatible with additional vehicles equipped with 3-pin connectors beyond those listed. If your vehicle model is not shown, please verify compatibility with Dongar support before replacing a hardware kit for dash cam or fuse-box wiring solution.
• IGNITION-ACTIVATED POWER FOR BATTERY PROTECTION: This dashcam power adapter supplies power only when the vehicle’s ignition is ON. It is not intended for parking mode or constant power use. By shutting off automatically when the vehicle is off, it helps prevent battery drain—making it safer than many dash cam hardwire kit installs.
• STABLE, REGULATED POWER OUTPUT: Input: 10–30V⎓1.8A Max; Output: 4.75-5.25V⎓2.4A. This regulated power protects your electronics and delivers consistent performance, outperforming many universal dash camera hardwire kit options.
• CLEAN OEM LOOK WITH NO EXPOSED WIRING: By drawing power from the OEM connector, this dash cam adapter keeps all wiring hidden for a factory-installed appearance. The compact design fits neatly in the roof cavity, avoiding the complexity of a dash cam hardwire kit installation. No cables routed down the windshield or through trim panels, giving you a professional result without the effort of installing a traditional hardware kit for dash cam.
• COMPLETE DONGAR TECHNOLOGIES KIT – READY TO INSTALL: The kit includes one (1) dash cam power adapter, one (1) vehicle-specific wiring harness, and three (3) short USB cables (USB-C, Micro USB, and Mini USB). Everything needed for a fast, clean installation is included—no additional dash cam hardwire kit required.
