Multifunction Compact Riser & Tripod Accessory The Platypod Handle is a compact, multifunction riser and mounting tool that adapts cameras, ball heads, lights, microphones, monitors, articulating arms, and other accessories into a versatile support system. Ideal for landscape, studio, food, portrait, macro, product photographers, filmmakers, and vloggers, the Handle makes it easy to expand your creative possibilities wherever you work. The Handle features a professional 3/8”-16 mounting stud, making it directly compatible with most tripod heads and other professional support equipment. For direct mounting of cameras and accessories with a standard 1/4”-20 female socket, simply add the Platypod Cap 1/4” for Handle (sold separately). The Cap converts the top of the Handle to a standard 1/4”-20 mounting stud while preserving all eight accessory mounting ports, making it the simplest and most versatile upgrade for the Handle. Without the Platypod Cap, you can mount a camera by attaching a Platypod Disc (sold separately) or any tripod head with a 3/8”-16 female socket to the Handle.
