- OPTION A FIT: For tent rails that use an aluminum slider plate (square washer) inside the rail channel with an M8 bolt. Common examples include iKamper, Roofnest, Thule Tepui, CVT, Smittybilt, ROAM, ARB, OVS, 4x4 Colorado, and newer Tuff Stuff Alpha tents.
- SOLO REMOVAL AFTER SETUP: After the one-time installation, take the tent off or put it back on in about three minutes without tools. The fixed mounting position returns the tent to the same alignment every time.
- FOUR-MOUNT KIT: Includes four complete quick-release mounts plus the option-specific M8 tent-rail hardware selected for your tent.
- CROSSBAR FIT: Standard fit is 0.75 to 3.3 inches wide and 0.75 to 1.59 inches tall. Included spacers fit bars up to 2.1 inches tall. Bars 3.4 to 5.0 inches wide require the separately sold 1230 Wide Crossbar Fit Kit.
- CHECK CLEARANCE AND ACCESS: You must reach the front and rear crossbar areas on both sides. Minimum clearance from crossbar top to roof is 3.5 inches standard/hand knob, 3.0 standard/wing nut, 4.0 tall/hand knob, or 3.5 tall/wing nut.
