About this item
- Part Number: Direct fit replacement for 54102757016, 54102755849. Designed as a factory-spec drop-in replacement – no modifications needed. Fit for Mini Cooper R55 Clubman & R56 Hatchback (2006-2015)
- Complete 2-Piece Kit — Not Just Fabric: Package includes: ① Front roller blind assembly ② Rear roller blind assembly. Unlike cheap fabric-only replacements that force you to re-use your old (likely broken) spring mechanism, this kit includes the full roller assembly with integrated spring-loaded tension system for both front and rear. Smooth, consistent pull every time — no sagging, no bunching, no fighting with the shade.
- Fix the Sagging & Stuck Sunshade — A Known R55/R56 Issue: Does your panoramic sunroof shade sag in the middle, get stuck halfway, or refuse to stay closed? You're not alone — this is one of the most common failures on the R55/R56 platform. The factory fabric stretches out and the plastic guide rails warp over time. This complete front & rear assembly replaces the entire failed unit, restoring smooth open/close action and a tight, flush fit. No more sun beating down through a half-open shade.
- Tested for Smooth Operation Before Shipping: Each assembly is function-tested for roller tension, track alignment, and smooth retraction before packaging. Built with reinforced fabric and precision-molded guide rails to maintain consistent tension across thousands of open/close cycles. If you receive a unit that doesn't slide smoothly in a clean track, reach out to us — we stand behind every piece we ship.
- Installation Tips: Before installing, inspect and clean your sunroof tracks thoroughly. If you hear grinding, catching, or resistance during test-sliding, it means there are scratches, burrs, or debris in the track — clean these out completely before final installation. If you're not comfortable with interior trim work, we recommend having a professional handle it.
