About this item
- LOW PROFILE FOR DELICATE PRODUCE — Deep colanders pile strawberries and raspberries several layers deep, and the fruit underneath carries the weight. These wide, shallow trays spread berries, grapes, herbs and tender greens across more surface area, so water reaches more of it and less of it sits piled up.
- RINSE, DRAIN, SERVE OR CHILL BRIEFLY — Wash produce, let the water drain through, then bring the polished tray straight to the table. The low profile also slides onto a refrigerator shelf for short-term chilling before a meal. For longer berry storage, dry produce thoroughly and move it to a ventilated container.
- MICRO-PERFORATIONS FOR SMALL ITEMS — Fine, closely spaced holes release water quickly while helping keep blueberries, herbs, rice and small greens contained. The holes are punched through a solid sheet rather than woven as mesh, so there is nothing for seeds or stems to lodge in and it rinses clean easily.
- THICK-GAUGE 18/8 (304) STAINLESS STEEL — Food-grade 304 stainless with 18% chromium and 8% nickel, the same grade used in commercial kitchens. Corrosion-resistant, with no delicate woven wires to snag food. The flat tray spreads weight across the raised base, which is designed to resist flexing under a full load.
- STACKS ALMOST FLAT, DISHWASHER SAFE — All three nest into a stack thinner than a single deep colander, so they fit in a drawer or slide between shelves. Manufactured in Korea with smoothly finished rims, seamless welds and a polished surface. Dishwasher safe, or rinse clean by hand and dry thoroughly.
