About this item
- Hides the Cardboard Box in taupe Metal That Won't Yellow: A retail tissue box is printed cardboard; a plastic cover meant to hide it greys and yellows on a bathroom counter within a season. This taupe tissue box cover is matte metal with a polished gold trim, so it stays taupe beside a shower where plastic discolours, and it slips over any standard square tissue box
- Metal, Not Plastic or Acrylic: The cover is metal with a matte hand-painted finish — not the thin acrylic that scratches cloudy and yellows, which shows worst on taupe. Hand-painted in a studio that has worked this way since 1987, it wipes clean with a damp cloth and holds its colour on a humid counter
- Drops Straight Over a Standard Cube Box: The cover is open at the bottom and lifts off to swap boxes — no assembly, no base to align. It fits standard square (cube) tissue boxes, and the top slot feeds tissue without catching. Lift, replace, lower
- Bathroom, Nursery, Bedroom, or Desk — and It Coordinates: taupe is the colourway that reads as clean rather than committed, so it drops into a light bath, a nursery, or a bedroom without a fight. It is part of the wider Mattie collection — pair it with the matching wastebasket and soap dish for a coordinated set
- A Hostess Gift for a Bright, New Room: A taupe-and-gold metal tissue cover furnishes a guest bath or nursery — right for housewarmings, weddings, and baby showers. It is made by Jaye's Studio, a second-generation family studio hand-painting metal home decor since 1987
