About this item

• 100% Carbon Felt
• ✅【Fire-Resistant Carbon Felt Construction】The Matace welding blanket is made from 5mm thick carbon felt and has been tested in accordance with ASTM D6413 standards. Its dense, heavy-duty structure is designed to help manage sparks, hot slag, and radiant heat during welding and high-temperature work.
• ✅【5mm Thick Carbon Felt for Extended Protection】Crafted from 5mm thick carbon felt, this welding mat offers noticeably more substance than thin alternatives, helping reduce heat transfer and improve insulation during welding, soldering, and brazing tasks. The thicker construction provides added durability for repeated professional and DIY use.
• ✅【Reliable Heat Shield for Welding & Trades】Designed as a practical heat shield for welding, brazing, automotive repair, HVAC, and plumbing work, this fire-resistant pad helps protect work surfaces, equipment, and surrounding areas from sparks and heat exposure.
• ✅【Application-Focused Versatility】Beyond traditional welding tasks, selected sizes can also be used for grill and smoker heat protection, metal fabrication setups, and workshop surface coverage. The carbon felt material allows for controlled, task-specific use without overextending beyond its intended applications.
• ✅【Flexible, Cut-to-Fit & Easy to Handle】The carbon felt blanket is flexible, easy to position, and can be trimmed for custom fitting on benches, floors, or equipment. Its foldable design makes it convenient to store and deploy across different projects and work areas.
