Product Information

About this item

• Use your own file box — this kit supplies everything else The Nokbox Lite includes all the labels, checksheets, and bags from the full Nokbox system, without the box. Ideal if you already own a hanging file box or want to choose your own — including a fireproof box for added protection. Everything ships flat and assembles in one session.
• Dual-purpose checksheets: instructions for you and for your next of kin All 72 double-sided checksheets serve two people: the front walks you through what information to record and where to store original documents vs. copies; the back gives your executor or next of kin a plain-language guide for accessing and using the box after a death or emergency. Covers wills, insurance, financial accounts, property deeds, medical directives, and more — organized by life category, not alphabetically.
• Color-coded label system: 15 hanging folder labels + 67 file labels Fifteen color-coded hanging folder labels cover the major life categories (legal, financial, medical, property, personal, and more). Each supports up to 5 labeled sub-folders using the 67 included file labels — no need to remember a document's exact name to find it, just go to the right category. Also includes a zippered document protector bag for sensitive papers and a zippered key pouch with 10 key tags for safe deposit keys, spare house keys, or other small valuables.
• The affordable option for people who already own a file box The Lite is the right choice if you have a file box at home (or prefer to pick your own, including a fireproof model), want a lower entry price, or are setting up a second location alongside a full Nokbox. Also a practical, lightweight gift — it ships flat and is easy to mail to a parent, sibling, or partner you want to get organized.
• Guided setup from first folder to finished box. Includes step-by-step instructions for completing every section — no prior estate planning experience required. The 72 checksheets walk you through what to record, where to store original documents vs. copies, and what to tell your next of kin about the box's contents.
