About this item
- AUTO-RESET — POWER RESTORES BY ITSELF: When the GFCI trips, manual-reset plugs stay off until someone walks over and presses the button. The Kaper inline GFCI auto-resets the moment the fault clears — critical for unattended pool pumps, hot tub circulation, garden fountains, and standby generators. Your equipment keeps running; you stay on the couch. (Need a manual-reset version for power tools? See our companion SKU.)
- AUTO-MONITORING — SELF-TESTS EVERY 15 MINUTES: A traditional GFCI only knows it has failed when you press TEST — meaning a silently broken unit can leave you unprotected for months. Kaper performs an automatic self-test within 5 seconds of plug-in, then continuous self-tests every 15 minutes. Independently tested by Intertek to UL 943:2016 and CSA C22.2 No.144.1 safety standards.
- REPLACE THE PLUG, NOT THE MACHINE: GFCI plug burned out on your pressure washer? Pool pump cord damaged at the plug? Skip the cost of replacing the entire machine. This GFCI replacement plug provides a practical solution for compatible pressure washers, pool pumps, portable spas, and other 120V equipment with a matching 3-wire, 3-prong connection.
- BUILT FOR OUTDOORS — RAIN, HOSE, AND HEAT: Sealed housing with strain-relief cable gland resists water spray, dust, and direct sun. Heavy-duty 14AWG SJTW jacket rated -35°F to 140°F (-35°C to 60°C). Tested on above-ground pool pumps , portable spas, generators, and outdoor air compressors.
- HARD SPECS & CERTIFICATIONS: 120V AC · 15 Amp · 1800W max load · 4-6 mA trip threshold 14AWG SJTW outdoor cable · NEMA 5-15P plug, 5-15R grounded receptacle · -35°F to 140°F operating range. Independently tested by Intertek to UL 943:2016 Ed.5 and CSA C22.2 No.144.1:2016 (Test Report 230200179SHA-001, May 2023). Includes 30-day money-back guarantee, 12-month limited replacement warranty, and English-speaking support through Amazon messages.
