Yes. All of our products use non-nano Ecocert, COSMOS and Natural Products Association approved Zinc Oxide. Are you vegan + cruelty-free? Reef friendly? Yes! All of our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We are proud to have received the Leaping Bunny Seal as well. We not only avoid reef-harming chemical screens, but also avoid the top 6 offenders in skin- and earth-disrupting ingredients. Are your products gluten free? While we do not use gluten, we cannot claim they are Gluten-Free because our raw materials and our manufacturing facility are not guaranteed free of gluten or potential gluten cross-contamination. You don’t use fake fragrance, so why do some of your products smell so good? We use a custom combination of plant extracts and oils to achieve the scent in the products we’ve designated “naturally scented.” Our extract and oil blends are both Ecocert + COSMOS approved. Are your sunscreens safe for children? Yes! We created Solara for our own children's sensitive skin, so the majority of our products are Pediatrician and Derm approved.
