About this item

• Compatible Models: This 51mm bottomless portafilter with three ears is compatible with the CASABREWS Espresso Machine CM5418, 3700Essential, 5418Pro, 5418Basic, Mr.Coffee Espresso and Cappuccino Machine. In general, if your espresso machine’s original portafilter is 51mm in size and has three ears, each approximately 4mm thick, this portafilter should fit your coffee machine. Note: We recommend checking your original portafilter for compatibility before making a purchase.
• Useful Tips: We recommend using fresh coffee beans to grind your own ground coffee. Adjust the grinder to a finer setting for optimal results. To break up clumps and ensure even distribution, use a WDT tool and a 51mm coffee distributor. Be sure to tamp the coffee evenly, these steps will help reduce channeling and spurting during extraction. Keep in mind that achieving the perfect shot may take several attempts, especially when using a bottomless portafilter.
• 2 Cup Filter Basket and Puck Screen Included: A 51mm stainless steel filter basket with a 2-cup capacity, holding up to 16 grams of ground coffee. The 51mm puck screen not only helps evenly distribute water over the surface of the grounds, but also keeps the brewing head clean. We recommend verifying the dimensions of your espresso machine’s original portafilter before purchasing. It should be a 51mm portafilter with three ears, each approximately 4mm thick.
• High Quality: The portafilter head is crafted from food-grade stainless steel and manually polished to a high shine. Its precise dimensions ensure a secure fit with the group head. The handle is made from natural solid wood, featuring a solid surface and ergonomic design for a comfortable grip and effortless manual control.
• Removable and Easy to Clean: The detachable design allows for quick and easy disassembly, making the portafilter simple to use and clean. With no bottom, there are no limits on the size of the basket you can use, enhancing your overall brewing experience.
