Acts as a heat sink for cooling tape lights and is used for installing and protecting tape light. This led strip light channel can accommodate LED strips/tape/ribbon that are 1/2" inches wide or less. Frosted light diffuser slightly diffuses the light to create softer, smoother, desirable lighting effect. It protects the strip lights from dust and other undesirable elements while working as a metal heat sink that helps to spread the heat generated by the working light
