For maintenance, rinse the bags thoroughly under room temperature tap water before use, and replace them monthly.
• Filter Media balls provide a large, multifaceted surface area for filtration. They are compatible with all C-Series and Magniflow Canister Filters, as well as Rite-Size S. Each pack contains 90 bio-filter balls. For maintenance, gently rinse the balls monthly in established aquarium water and replace only if damaged or heavily soiled.
• Polishing filter pads enhance water clarity by supporting mechanical filtration and screening out fine particles and debris. They are compatible with C-Series and Magniflow 220 and 160 Canister Filters, as well as Rite-Size S. Each pack contains two polishing filter pads. For maintenance, replace the pads monthly, as they become clogged with debris over time; do not attempt to clean and reuse them.
