Product Description
Janie is an English major in college, an aspiring writer of science fiction, whose family and peers regard her as too naive and wrapped up in her fantasy world to live and succeed in real life. Undaunted, she dreams of someday traveling to distant galaxies, leaving behind the petty arguments, snobbery, and drudgery of her current dormitory and home lives. Fortunately for her, she lives in an era when science is rapidly overtaking science fiction. After she graduates, she marries a brilliant engineer and embarks with him on a series of otherworldly adventures, to the moon and Mars and beyond, while still dabbling with her space opera and fashioning a career as a Budget Analyst in each remote location. In all her far-flung travels, will Janie ever find what she is really looking for? Read more
