Gaiam Performance TPE Yoga Mat, 6mm Non-Slip

About this item

• FEELS LIKE A PRO MAT, NOT FOAM — TPE MATERIAL MAKES THE DIFFERENCE: Unlike spongy PVC or thin foam mats, this mat is crafted from Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) — a premium material that strikes the perfect balance between firm support and cushioned give. It springs back under your hands and feet without bottoming out, so your wrists and joints stay comfortable through every flow.
• DUAL-TEXTURE SURFACES — ONE MAT, TWO GRIPS: Flip it over and feel the difference. The top surface features a raised texture that locks your hands and feet in place even in sweaty, high-heat sessions. The reverse side offers a smoother, denser feel — ideal for stability-focused Pilates or floor work. Two distinct textures means you can dial in your grip to match your practice.
• CLOSED-CELL SURFACE REPELS SWEAT — STAYS FRESH SESSION AFTER SESSION: The closed-cell construction means sweat, moisture, and bacteria can't seep into the mat material. Instead of absorbing odors over time (a common complaint with open-cell foam mats), this mat wipes clean quickly and stays odor-free. Just a damp cloth after practice — no soaking, no scrubbing.
• 6MM OF TARGETED CUSHIONING — SUPPORTIVE WITHOUT BEING UNSTABLE: At 6mm thick, this mat provides enough cushion to protect your knees, hips, and spine on hard floors — without the "sinking" feeling that throws off your balance in standing poses. It's the sweet spot for yogis who want joint support without sacrificing ground contact and stability.
• LIGHTWEIGHT, ECO-CONSCIOUS, AND BUILT TO LAST — 68" x 24", 3 LBS: TPE is free from PVC, latex, and toxic plasticizers, making this a safer choice for your body and a lighter footprint on the planet. At just 3 lbs, it rolls up tightly and travels well. Comes with a Gaiam carry strap so you're ready to go from the moment it arrives.
