• WHY DON'T WE INCLUDE "SCOOPS"? Some ear cameras include detachable ear "scoops" for removing earwax. These tools are often ineffective at removing deep or impacted earwax. Worse, they can potentially scrape the ear canal or puncture the ear drum. The American Academy of Otolaryngology advises against inserting any instruments, such as scoops, into the ear canal due to the risk of injury.
• RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH THE WAXRX EAR WASH SYSTEM: The WaxRx Ear Camera is intended for visual inspection only, not ear cleaning. If earwax is discovered, we recommend ear washing with the WaxRx Ear Wash System. for gentle, safe removal of earwax. Remember, "Never Scoop!"
