About this item

• 【Press to Open. Stays Open. Trigger to Clamp】When the fish is at boatside and everything gets fast, loud, and messy, the press-to-open mechanism lets you open the jaws by feel—without looking down or fumbling for anything extra. Press it against the deck, your thigh, or another stable surface, and the jaws open and stay open, keeping your eyes on the fish as you move in. Set it on the lip, then slide down the trigger to clamp down in one clean motion.
• 【Safer Control Around Teeth and Trebles】When a fish is still thrashing at boatside, safety matters as much as control. The gripper helps keep your hand farther from sharp teeth and swinging trebles, while the CNC-machined 6063 aluminum jaw opener features a crossguard-inspired profile that helps create a more protected hand position in close, chaotic handling.
• 【Let the Fish Twist, Not Your Wrist】The 360° rotating body helps take torque off your wrist, and the widened braided lanyard is more comfortable under load while keeping the gripper attached if it slips from your hand.
• 【Trip After Trip. Season After Season】Built from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and corrosion-resistant 6063 aluminum, the gripper is made to stand up to repeated saltwater abuse — so it keeps its shape and keeps its look over time. A 168-hour salt spray test puts real proof behind that long-term durability.
• 【Stays Fresher and Holds Up Longer】Hypalon holds up better under sun, salt, and everyday mess, helping the grip stay fresher, resist odor, and hold its shape and appearance better over time—without the early breakdown and worn look that repeated harsh use can bring.
