YakAttack ShortStak SOLO 13" x 16" Storage Box, Black

Product Description

Q: What is the YakAttack ShortStak SOLO? A: It’s a fully independent, low-profile storage crate designed for kayaks, featuring a 13" x 16" footprint and a hinged lid, latches, and new slider feet for under-seat mobility. Q: How is this different from the original ShortStak upgrade? A: Unlike the upgrade kit, the SOLO version includes all hardware and structural components—lid, hinges, and latches—making it a complete standalone unit. Q: What’s the benefit of the Slider Foot system? A: The included hard plastic feet allow the box to slide easily across traction pads or deck surfaces, making it perfect for storing under high-low kayak seats. Q: Is it customizable with accessories? A: Yes. The crate uses the GridLoc 2D mounting platform on all panels, allowing you to attach YakAttack accessories like MightyMounts, TracPaks, and through-hull wiring kits. Q: How durable is it in saltwater or tough use? A: The ShortStak SOLO is made from marine-grade injection-molded parts with stainless steel hardware, designed to last in harsh water environments and heavy daily use. Q: What are the internal and external dimensions for this 13-inch x 16-inch version? A: Internal dimensions (L, W, H) – 11.9” x 14.9” x 4.25” while the external dimensions are 12.94” x 15.94” x 5.25”
