About this item

• Quality Material: This installation cone is made from premium plastic that offers excellent strength and resists cracking or breaking even when placed under heavy loads. With reliable impact resistance and structural stability, it provides consistent performance for repeated use over time
• Practical Function: The cone improves the efficiency of installing CV dust boots onto drive shaft joints. It smoothly stretches the boot over the CV joint, reducing installation time while helping ensure a secure fit. This aids in maintaining proper joint function and overall vehicle performance
• Smooth Surface: The surface of the cone is smooth, making it easy to clean and maintain after use. That can help protect against the buildup of dirt or grime, keeping the tool in good condition over time and reducing the risk of damage to the CV joint during boot installation
• Wide Application: With a base diameter of 4.3" (110 mm), a top diameter of 0.6" (14 mm), and a height of 12.8" (325 mm), this installation cone is compatible with most vehicle types. It fits a wide range of CV joint sizes, making it a practical tool for both mechanics and DIY users
• Easy to Install: Installation is straightforward. First, warm the CV boot in sunlight or with a safe heat source to make it more flexible. Then, apply transmission oil or lubricant to ease the process. Finally, place the cone over the joint and slide the boot into position along the tapered surface
