We know that not all dogs love wearing accessories, that's why our bandana is created for COMFORT & PERFECT FIT with our over-the-collar design. This makes our bandana feel the same as wearing their collar, ensuring a comfortable, secure fit without the bulky, cumbersome ties and excessive material around their neck restricting movement. Most sellers offer “stamped” leather patches in “limited” shapes for their bandanas. We use an engraving and embossing method for our leather patch, along with a premium leather tanning lotion so that the tanning color penetrates into the grain of the natural leather. Once dried and cured, the leather patch is then buffed to create a beautiful shine. This method allows for a more in-depth and richer look and feel. The leather patch gets smoother and more supple over time. We then adhere your custom patch to your choice of super soft woven cotton bandana material from our available colors. Woven cotton refers to fabric that is created by interlacing two or more threads at right angles, resulting in a more stable and durable textile that has the pattern of the material on both sides, versus non-woven which is just “printed” on one side. We use Leather Cement Glue for this step, which is a flexible, non-flammable adhesive made specifically for adhering leather to surfaces, attaching to the fibers of the back side of the leather to form a strong bond. The combination of the leather patch and soft classic material is a statement of great appreciation and love for your furbaby! LEATHER STAIN: We use a premium leather tanning lotion. Choose the color stain for your leather from ACORN BROWN or BRICK RED. Keep in mind that part of the natural beauty and appeal of genuine natural veg-tan leather is the variation from one hide to another, and even across same hides, affecting color and appearance. That means no two leather patches will be the same--color and appearance may even vary across the same leather patch (including across the engraved and embossed portion since each piece of leather is unique and beautiful). BANDANA SIZE: (NOTE: The WIDTH of the top edge collar pocket of the bandana does not need to be as long as the “tie” type bandanas that go all the way around your pets neck and tie in the back. Instead, you can measure the front of your pets neck from below one ear, around the front, to the other side below the other ear. This size is perfect for the bandana to be at the front of your pets neck and chest, preventing cumbersome material bunching up and tying the whole way around.)
