About this item

• 【Advanced Hybrid Storage Architecture】This integrated docking station for the Mac mini M4 delivers a sophisticated tiered storage solution. It combines massive capacity with high-speed performance, supporting a total maximum storage of 56TB. The system accommodates two SATA HDD/SSD drives with a combined capacity of up to 24TB for bulk storage, paired with a single M.2 NVMe SSD (form factors 2230/2242/2260/2280) with up to 8TB capacity. This architecture is engineered for optimized data management, segregating voluminous archives from performance-critical active projects.
• 【High-Speed 10Gbps Data Link】Leveraging the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the enclosure ensures maximum theoretical data transfer rates of up to 10Gbps. Its dual-protocol support for both NVMe and SATA M.2 (NGFF) SSDs provides broad compatibility. The integrated NVMe slot is ideally repurposed as a dedicated high-speed external cache or direct-editing workspace, drastically accelerating workflow efficiency for data-intensive applications.
• 【Comprehensive Connectivity Hub】The MiniTower significantly expands the connectivity of the Mac mini M4, transforming it into a centralized workstation. It is equipped with a versatile port selection, including one USB-A (10Gbps) port, three USB 2.0 ports for peripherals, and independent UHS-I TF/SD 3.0 card readers. This extensive I/O expansion enhances productivity for both professional and home office environments.
• 【Configurable RAID Modes for Data Management】The dual-bay SATA backplane offers flexible and secure data management through user-selectable RAID modes, including RAID 0 (striping for performance), RAID 1 (mirroring for redundancy), JBOD (spanning), and individual disk operation. Important Note on Configuration: The physical RAID mode selector switches on this unit operate in a reverse order (from bottom to top). Users must verify the selected mode against the indicator panel prior to finalizing the configuration to ensure data integrity and prevent unintended data loss.
• 【Optimized Thermal Management System】Engineered for sustained performance, the enclosure features a robust thermal design. An anti-fingerprint brushed aluminum chassis acts as a passive heatsink, while a strategically positioned low-noise active fan promotes consistent airflow through dedicated ventilation ports on the top and bottom panels. This ensures operational stability and protects drive integrity, even under continuous full load or with multiple connected peripherals.
