Our Maple Sugar is made only from our Pure Vermont Maple Syrup. Nothing else added, all natural. The process of making sugar involves taking finished maple syrup and boiling it down even further until it reaches about 260 degrees, then cooling and stirring as it crystallizes. After cooling we sift to remove larger granules. These maple sprinkles are the large chunks that are left. They can be used the same as maple sugar in your coffee or tea plus they make a great topping on ice cream or yogurt. Our maple syrup is processed in the traditional way in small batches with utmost attention to quality and purity. We strive to boil the sap the same day it is collected and we use stainless steel tanks, fittings, pans, and utensils to produce the purest tasting maple syrup available We manage our sugar maple forest for sustainability and conservation. Many of our trees are over 100 years old and we want to ensure they'll be around for another 100!
