Lilybekind colored shoelaces are flat woven laces made to replace the plain laces that come with most sneakers. Each pair is 51 inches long and 5/16 inch wide, a length that suits low top sneakers and trainers with six to eight pairs of eyelets. The laces are woven from 100 percent polyester in a flat braid, so they sit flush in the eyelets rather than rolling over, and the sealed aglets slide through without catching. Patterned colorways carry a two tone checkered and argyle style design along the full length of the lace, so the pattern reads clearly across the crossovers instead of disappearing under the tongue. Solid colorways are a single even shade end to end. Nineteen colorways are available, from neutral cream and khaki to red, green, navy, and multi tone combinations, so you can match a team color, echo a detail on the upper, or set the laces against the shoe for contrast. Lacing them is the same as any flat lace: pull the old pair, thread the new one from the bottom eyelets up, even out the ends, and tie. One order includes one pair, two laces. To keep them looking new, hand wash in cool water with mild soap and air dry.
