Boss Fighters QR combines the classic elements of a card game with an app to create a unique gaming experience. The players compete together against ten unique bosses with individual strengths and abilities that respond tactically to the actions of the players. Thanks to the Scan & Play mechanism, the app captures physical cards via a QR code on the back in seconds and reacts in real time to the moves for a seamless interplay of strategic deck building with dynamic boss battles. At the beginning of the campaign, players choose a hero deck Troll, Half, Dwarf or Elf and combine it freely with one of four available classes: Warrior, Magician, Villain or Druid. The app then directs the playgroup through the game and from boss to boss. With each boss, the players also expect a new challenge, because each boss has their own tactics and attacks that the hero group must find out in battle and then fight. If the group is successful, it receives loot cards hidden in three secret loot boxes. With these, they can improve their decks, unlock new skills and replace old cards. Each Boss in Boss Fighters QR can be played in four different difficulty levels, from "Newcomers (for Families)" to "Insane (for Experts)".
