Please note: The GTN0.5 - 500 Watt immersion heater is designed for heating water in small containers such as glasses, cups and small cups. Just touch the handle. Never touch the water to be heated or the heating elements while the heating rod is in operation. Attention! The cloth heater cannot be operated in the air. Do not immerse the heater in liquids other than water. The heater must not be used in plastic containers or other containers that could melt or catch fire. The device is not a toy and must not be used by children. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children. Immersion heaters are used for heating and boiling water. These affordable, safe and easy to use devices have enjoyed great popularity for years. Depending on the power and size, they can be used to heat a small amount of water (e.g. in a glass) or in a bucket-sized container. They are irreplaceable when travelling and camping, in the household, hiking, in the sanatorium, catering, hotel industry and anywhere fast boiling a small amount of water is required. The longevity of the GTN0.5 heating element - 500 W is additionally increased by electropolishing. Electropolishing is an electrochemical process that uses electric current and a special electrolyte to remove a thin layer of metal from a surface (usually stainless steel). The result is a very smooth, shiny and clean surface that is more corrosion resistant and easier to clean and prevents the adhesion of impurities. The heater is not intended for operation with an external timer or other remote control device. Usage description: The heater should be immersed so that the water level is between the markings on the tube. The immersion heater should only be switched on after immersion in water. The heating rod must not be operated in the air as this may lead to burning out and loss of the warranty claim. Do not let the heater holder flood. The housing must not be submerged in water. After finishing the heating process and disconnecting from the power supply, leave the heater in the water for at least 1 minute, preferably until it has cooled completely. After removing the plug, the heating element is still hot, so do not touch! Care instructions: If there are slight limescale deposits after using the heater, it is recommended to spray the heating rod with vinegar, then rinse with water and wipe gently with a cloth. If limescale settles in the heater, do not remove the limescale mechanically and do not clean it with harsh detergents. It is recommended to remove limescale deposits by immersing the heater in a heated solution of 10% vinegar and water in a ratio of 1:1 for about 3 minutes. To get rid of the sharp smell, the immersion heater must be thoroughly washed.
