To ensure proper installation, the distance between your shower head and control valve should be more than 24 in (61 cm), and the control valve must not be located directly below the shower head at 37 in (92 cm). The distance between the suction cups after installation is 5.12 in (13 cm). If your valve width is greater than this measurement and it is positioned at the aforementioned 33 in location, it will be blocked and prevent installation.
