Rear Backup Parking Camera Suitable for Ford Transit Custom 2015-2018 Models

About this item

• This rearview parking camera is engineered to restore the original rearview parking assistance functionality in compatible vehicles. Its primary purpose is to provide a live video feed of the area behind the vehicle to the driver during reversing maneuvers, aiding in safety and obstacle detection. It directly replaces a failed or damaged factory camera to reinstate this critical driver aid system.
• This component is a direct replacement specifically for Ford Transit Custom models produced from 2015 through 2018. It is designed for installation at the designated rear mounting location on these vehicles, precisely where the original factory camera was positioned to provide an unobstructed view of the rear area.
• The camera housing is constructed using a combination of plastic and metal materials. This specific material composition is selected to ensure a durable build that can withstand environmental exposure while providing the precise dimensions and structural integrity required for a proper fit within the vehicle's mounting point.
• This part is manufactured as a direct replacement for specific Ford OEM part numbers, including GK2T19G490AB and GK2T19G490AC. It is designed to match the exact form, fit, and function of the original equipment, featuring the correct electrical connector for seamless integration without requiring adapters or wiring modifications.
• Installation is designed as a plug-and-play procedure. The unit connects directly to the vehicle's existing wiring harness using the correct, application-specific electrical connector. This allows for a straightforward replacement workflow that integrates with the factory system, typically displaying the video feed on the vehicle's infotainment or dashboard screen.
