Product Description

The White Scars Space Marine Legion The White Scars are one of the First Founding Legions of the Adeptus Astartes, forged in the fires of the Great Crusade and defined by their mastery of hit-and-run warfare, nomadic heritage, and unshakable bond with their Primarch, Jaghatai Khan. Renowned for their lightning-fast strikes, motorcycle squadrons, and free-spirited warrior culture, they stand as a stark contrast to the rigid discipline of many other Space Marine Legions. 1. Founding & Primarch: Jaghatai Khan The White Scars’ origin is tied to their Primarch, Jaghatai Khan, who was scattered across the galaxy as an infant and raised on the harsh, steppe-covered world of Chogoris (also known as Mundus Planus). On Chogoris, Jaghatai rose to lead the Talskars—a nomadic tribe of fierce horse lords—uniting the planet’s warring clans through his strategic genius and unmatched skill in mounted combat. When the Emperor rediscovered Jaghatai during the Great Crusade, the Primarch swore fealty but refused to abandon his people’s nomadic traditions. He renamed his Legion the White Scars (originally the 5th Legion, with no distinct moniker) and reshaped their doctrine around speed, mobility, and the hit-and-run tactics of Chogoris’ steppe warriors. The Legion adopted the white armor and red lightning bolt insignia—symbols of their homeland’s endless plains and the swiftness of their strikes. 2. Great Crusade & Horus Heresy: The Khan’s Loyalty During the Great Crusade, the White Scars became the Imperium’s premier rapid-response force. They excelled at lightning campaigns, using jetbikes, Land Speeders, and Storm Eagle Gunships to outmaneuver enemy forces, strike critical targets, and vanish before retaliation. Jaghatai’s Legion avoided prolonged sieges (a weakness they openly acknowledged) and instead specialized in breaking supply lines, decapitating command structures, and demoralizing foes through guerrilla warfare.
