Product Description
Restore your ChompSaw to full cutting power with the official Chompshop Cutting Head Refresh Kit. The cutting head on the ChompSaw is designed to hold peak performance for over two years of cutting paper and cardboard. When cuts start to slow or drag, this kit brings your machine back to new! Includes 1 replacement cutting head, 1 replacement cutting shaft, 1 wrench, 1 grease packet, and 1 3mm Allen key. The only tool needed from home is a Phillips head screwdriver. Compatible with the ChompSaw only. The swap takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Every kit ships with a QR code linking to a step-by-step replacement video and quick repair guide. STEPS: Disassemble: unplug the ChompSaw, remove the lid and drawer, unscrew the corner screws with the included Allen key, then disconnect a few interior components as shown in the video. Replace: remove the old cutting head and cutting shaft, grease and install the new shaft, then secure the new cutting head with the set screw and thread locker. Reassemble: reattach the fan, chute, and housing, screw the top piece back on, slide the drawer in, plug it in, and start cutting. No specialty tools required. Adult installation recommended. Keeping a spare cutting head on hand means less downtime between projects, whether the ChompSaw lives at the kitchen table, in a classroom makerspace, or at summer camp. Young makers stay building and keep building with confidence.
