About this item

• AN OBJECT THAT DOES TWO JOBS - An object that only does one thing isn't finished. Stand The Container upright as a two-shelf organizer for pens, markers, a notepad, small tools - then tip it on its side and the top opens flat into a caddy or a tray. Two orientations, two jobs, one purchase.
• DESIGNED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ON PURPOSE - I didn't add the second use as an afterthought. I designed it to work upright and on its side from the start, so it earns its footprint twice over instead of being one more single-job thing on your desk.
• A CONTAINER AT THREE INCHES - Every detail that makes a shipping container read as a container at fifteen feet is here at three: the corrugated sides, the corner castings, the proportions. It looks like it arrived from somewhere more interesting than your office, because it sort of did.
• THE SATISFACTION OF SOMETHING CONSIDERED - There's a quiet satisfaction in owning something that was actually thought about - not assembled to a price, but designed. This is that, sitting on your desk where you will notice it every day.
• SIZED FOR A DESK - Measures 3.7 x 3.4 x 4.5 inches with two interior shelves - vertical shelved storage or horizontal open-top caddy. Small enough to share the desk, substantial enough to run it.
• THE RED THAT DECLARES ITSELF - RedStuff Red - not the color that fits in, the one that declares itself. One color, every product, no apologies, and it won't fade even by a sunny window all day.
• PART OF THE DEPOT COLLECTION, MADE TO ORDER - Pairs with The Pallet and The Barrel. I start yours when you order it, and my mark is hidden on the bottom, where only you will find it - our secret.
