- TTL and manual control: The Godox X1R-C wireless flash receiver brings TTL metering and manual flash adjustment into the Godox X wireless system for Canon users who want more control over off-camera lighting. It helps streamline exposure management during portraits, events, product work, and fast-moving shoots by supporting both automated convenience and hands-on power changes from a wireless setup without forcing you to rebuild your lighting approach around entirely new flash habits
- High-speed sync flexibility: With support for high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, the X1R-C gives photographers more freedom to shape light in bright conditions and work with wider apertures for shallow depth of field. This added timing flexibility is useful for outdoor portraits, location sessions, and creative flash photography where balancing ambient light and flash output matters to the final look and where standard sync limits can slow down the shooting process
- Brings older flashes into wireless setups: Designed to add wireless capability to existing flash units, this receiver helps integrate legacy lighting gear into the Godox X 2.4GHz system without complicating your workflow. It is a practical option for photographers and content creators who want to expand into off-camera flash control while continuing to use flashes they already trust for studio sessions, mobile productions, and everyday assignments that benefit from cleaner cable-free operation
- Stable 2.4GHz performance: Built around Godox 2.4GHz wireless communication, the X1R-C is made for dependable triggering and coordinated flash control across compatible Godox X system setups. The source information also notes support for multiple channels and an approximate transmission range of 328 feet, giving users more confidence when placing lights farther from the camera in larger rooms, event spaces
Product Description
The Godox Flash X1R-C TTL Wireless Flash Receiver for Canon is built for photographers and content creators who want dependable off-camera flash control while making better use of the lighting gear they already own. Designed to work within the Godox X 2.4GHz wireless system, it helps bring existing flashes into a more flexible setup for studio sessions, event coverage, portraits, product photography, and on-location shooting. By supporting TTL metering and manual flash adjustments, the X1R-C gives users a practical balance of speed and control. TTL can help simplify fast-paced shooting situations where lighting conditions change quickly, while manual adjustment supports a more deliberate approach when consistency matters from frame to frame. This combination makes the receiver useful for both efficient run-and-gun workflows and more controlled creative setups. The X1R-C also supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, giving photographers more freedom when working in bright ambient light or when using wider apertures for a shallower depth of field. That added flexibility can be especially helpful for outdoor portraits, lifestyle content, and other scenarios where you want to maintain creative control over both subject lighting and background exposure without being limited by standard sync speeds. For users with older or existing flash units, this receiver offers a straightforward way to add wireless capability and connect those flashes to the Godox X ecosystem. Instead of replacing trusted equipment right away, photographers can expand their lighting workflow more efficiently and build a more adaptable off-camera setup around the tools they already know. This can be especially valuable for hobbyists growing their kits, professionals refining multi-light setups, and creators who need a portable system that can move easily between locations.
