Reckless Deceit: A DCI Evan Warlow Novel (DCI Evan Warlow Crime Thriller Book 21)
Product Description
A professional hit in rural Wales leaves Warlow chasing shadows.First a body in the moss-dark woodland above Brechfa. Then a silver Nissan abandoned on a quiet Carmarthen street. It all adds up to an execution so methodical it could only have been planned weeks in advance.DCI Evan Warlow doesn't know why professional killers drove two hundred miles to murder a minibus driver. He doesn't know why there is cocaine on the victim's clothing, or who made the phone call designed to identify him. What he does know is that every thread in this investigation seems to have been cut before it can lead anywhere useful. The truth, when it comes, reaches back further than anyone expected — and closer to home than anyone is comfortable with. With DS Jess Allanby back from Milan, Gil Jones in fine sardonic form, and the team juggling personal upheaval alongside a race against the custody clock, Reckless Deceit delivers all the warmth, wit, and procedural tension that has made the Warlow series a firm favourite with readers on both sides of the Atlantic. Reckless Deceit is the twenty-first novel from bestselling crime author Rhys Dylan, delivering the series’ characteristic precision and unease. Recommended for readers of JD Kirk, TG Reid and Peter Robinson.WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT Rhys Dylan’s INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING DCI Warlow SERIES:"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A tightly written story, by someone who knows how to write a chilling tale.” Amazon Review, THE ENGINE HOUSE“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Would give this book a ten if I could absolutely love it and what a great team they are making."
