Product Information
About this item
- Ready for Enclosed Prototyping: The included case reduces enclosure, mounting and assembly work, so you can focus on validating the voice experience instead of building the mechanical package first.
- Onboard Voice Processing: XVF3800 performs AEC, beamforming, de-reverberation, DoA, VAD, AGC and noise suppression before audio reaches your application, helping reduce downstream audio preprocessing.
- 360° Far-Field Voice Capture: Four MEMS microphones in a circular array support speech pickup from different directions at distances up to 5 m, so users do not need to speak toward one fixed microphone position.
- XIAO ESP32S3 for Connected Voice: The pre-soldered XIAO ESP32S3 adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy and MCU-side control for local wake-word projects, smart-home voice interfaces and custom embedded applications.
- Firmware Options: Ships with Standard I2S firmware for XIAO ESP32S3 and is not a USB audio device by default; switch to USB firmware for host audio or use dedicated 48 kHz HA I2S firmware for Home Assistant and ESPHome Voice; configurations are separate.
Product Description
Move faster from a voice prototype to an enclosed endpoint with the reSpeaker XVF3800 4-Mic Array with XIAO ESP32S3 and Case. The included case reduces enclosure, mounting and assembly work while keeping the microphone array, voice processor and controller together in a compact development platform. It is suited to desktop voice agents, demos, smart-home voice prototypes and connected embedded applications. XVF3800 performs AEC, beamforming, de-reverberation, DoA, VAD, AGC and noise suppression before audio reaches your application. Four MEMS microphones in a circular array support 360° far-field voice pickup from different directions at distances up to 5 m. Actual pickup distance depends on room acoustics, background noise and placement. For best results, keep the sound holes unobstructed and position the mic-inlet side toward the speaking area. The pre-soldered XIAO ESP32S3 adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy and MCU-side control for local wake-word projects, smart-home voice interfaces and custom embedded applications. Audio playback requires compatible headphones or an external speaker connected through the available audio outputs. Important firmware information: This version ships with Standard I2S firmware for use with XIAO ESP32S3 and is not a USB audio device by default. Switch to USB firmware for direct host audio. Home Assistant and ESPHome Voice projects use Seeed's dedicated 48 kHz HA I2S firmware. Standard I2S, USB and HA are separate firmware configurations. This is an enclosed development platform, not a finished consumer smart speaker. Final application software, voice services and any required external playback hardware are provided by the builder.
