Aker Leather 550 Baton Ring Strap with Chrome Snap & Baton Ring, Fits

Product Description

The Aker Leather 550 Baton Ring Strap is a duty belt accessory made in the USA for officers, deputies, corrections staff, and private security professionals who carry a straight baton as part of their standard equipment. Constructed from quality vegetable-tanned cowhide, the 550 is available in both smooth plain black and classic basketweave finishes to match a variety of duty belt configurations and uniform requirements. Chrome snap closures and a chrome baton ring provide a clean, professional look while keeping the baton accessible and properly positioned throughout a full duty shift. The open-ring design accommodates most standard straight batons commonly used in patrol, corrections, and security environments. Its straightforward layout supports quick baton access without additional straps or retention devices, allowing users to draw and reholster smoothly during patrol activity, defensive situations, or emergency responses. The ring position keeps the baton at a consistent angle, making it easier to locate by feel during low-light or fast-moving situations. For belt attachment, the rear chrome snaps fasten securely to duty belts up to 2.25 inches wide. This snap-on system allows the strap to be mounted or removed without unthreading the entire belt, making it practical during shift changes, training sessions, or equipment adjustments. Once secured, the strap minimizes unwanted movement during walking, running, bending, or entering and exiting vehicles. Built with reinforced stitching and molded leather construction, the 550 maintains its shape through regular duty use and integrates cleanly into a full belt setup alongside holsters, handcuff cases, radio holders, and flashlight carriers. Handcrafted in California, the Aker Leather 550 Baton Ring Strap provides a dependable and straightforward solution for carrying a straight baton within reach across patrol shifts, security assignments, and training environments.
