I have very sensitive skin and tend to get allergic reactions easily. Is this folliculitis cream suitable for me? Yes. I have sensitive skin too, and it's worked really well for me. I can't say it's a cure, but I've definitely noticed improvement, and my scalp has become less irritated over time. Is 5% Benzoyl Peroxide effective? 10% is too harsh for my skin. Yes, absolutely. The 5% strength has been effective for me and is much gentler on my skin. Since this is a cream that stays on your skin for a while, I think 5% is a great balance between effectiveness and comfort. Does it work for acne too? Yes, it does. I use it on the acne on my forehead, and I also apply a little to my husband's skin after he shaves to help prevent redness and irritation. It really helps soothe and calm the skin. How long does it take to see results? Everyone's skin is different, but I started noticing improvement within about a week.
