Liproguard (previously Liprotek) is a reusable, custom-molded lip protector designed for saxophone, clarinet and other woodwind or brass musicians who experience pressure from their lower teeth during extended playing sessions. Simply soften the thermoplastic material in hot water, position it over your lower teeth and mold it into a thin, comfortable cushion. The material can be shaped closely to your teeth to help protect your bottom lip. Liproguard is ideal for rehearsals, performances, marching band, practice sessions and other situations where musicians play for extended periods. Unlike temporary solutions such as cigarette paper, dental wax or disposable barriers, Liproguard is durable, washable and remoldable. Each package includes two moldable Liproguard pieces and a hard protective carrying case. How to Use: Heat water to approximately 140–160°F. Submerge one Liproguard piece until it becomes clear and flexible. Carefully mold it thinly over the lower teeth, allow it to cool and trim as needed. Reheat and remold whenever necessary.
