About this item

  • Two Veggie Recipes: Serenity Kids brings together 12 butternut squash and spinach pouches with 12 sweet potato and parsnip pouches, 24 in all. Both are USDA Organic vegetable purees for babies from 6 months and up
  • Short Ingredient Lists: The butternut squash and spinach recipe uses just 4 ingredients, and the sweet potato pouch adds purple carrot and parsnip. Every label is quick to scan, which suits parents who read the small print
  • One Veggie Portion: Each sweet potato and parsnip pouch delivers a full serving* of veggies (*1 serving = 1/4 cup vegetables), which makes it simple to add vegetables to breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack
  • Savory Not Sweet: Neither recipe has added sugar, so these baby snacks and toddler snacks lean savory rather than fruity. Serving vegetables early helps little ones get used to earthy flavors like beet and carrot before sweeter foods take hold
  • Simple to Serve: Massage the pouch for 10 to 20 seconds, twist off the cap and serve at room temperature with no heating needed. Refrigerate after opening, use within 24 hours, then recycle the empty pouch through TerraCycle

Product Description

Serenity Kids Vegetable Baby Food Pouches bring two savory recipes together: 12 pouches of butternut squash and spinach and 12 pouches of sweet potato and parsnip, 24 pouches of 3.5 oz in all. Both are USDA Organic vegetable purees, made in the USA for babies from 6 months and up, and neither carries added sugar. The butternut squash and spinach recipe uses just four ingredients: organic butternut squash, organic spinach, water and organic olive oil. The sweet potato pouch adds organic purple carrot and organic parsnip. Each sweet potato and parsnip pouch gives a full serving* of veggies (*1 serving = 1/4 cup vegetables), and both labels are short enough to scan in the aisle. Why start with a vegetable baby puree rather than fruit? Serving earthy flavors early helps babies accept greens, roots and squash before a preference for sweetness sets in. As the school year restarts and afternoons cool off, these pouches slide into a bag for a preschool drop off, a walk to the park or a weekend at the grandparents, and they need no cooler and no heating. Serving is quick. Massage the pouch for 10 to 20 seconds so the texture is smooth, twist off the cap and squeeze into a bowl or onto a spoon, or let an older toddler hold the pouch. Serve at room temperature and do not microwave. Refrigerate after opening and use within 24 hours. Keep the cap out of reach and supervise every feed. Packaging is BPA free and can go into the TerraCycle program. Included: 12 butternut squash and spinach pouches and 12 sweet potato and parsnip pouches.
