NEW COLOR ASSORTMENT! 6-pint class pack includes one 16 oz. (473 mL) jar each of CO-08 Dark Star, CO-07 Solar Flare, CO-14 Solar Rainbow, CO-21 Galactic Glacier, CO-24 Blue Starlight, and CO-06 Supernova.
Apply 4 coats to Cone 04 bisque, then fire to Cone 5-6. CO-07 Solar Flare, CO-08 Dark Star, CO-14 Solar Rainbow, CO-21 Galactic Glacier, and CO-24 Blue Starlight perform best at Cone 6 but can be fired to Cone 5; CO-06 Supernova performs best at Cone 5 but can be fired to Cone 6.
Iridescent mid-high fire (Cone 5-6) AMACO Cosmos Crystalline "CO" Glazes exhibit unique and captivating visual effects reminiscent of cosmic or otherworldly phenomena; meticulously crafted to capture the mesmerizing beauty of crystalline glazes in every brushstroke, right out of the jar.
Crystals will develop on both horizontal and vertical clay surfaces; vertical surfaces will encourage running.
Normal medium-speed firing with no special cooling schedule required; use a controlled cooling scheduled for increased crystal growth.
Leave inside or back of form unglazed to avoid pinholing; if glazing a piece all the way to the end of the foot, use a drip tray to protect kiln shelves.
