Product Information
About
SPACE-SAVING SLIM HOB DESIGN FOR SMALL TANKS - This hang on back aquarium filter mounts securely to the outside of your tank, keeping the inside open for your fish to swim freely. Available in 2 sizes: Size S fits 4-21 gallon tanks (80 GPH, 3W), Size L fits 10-30 gallon tanks (106 GPH, 5W). Compatible with glass up to 1.18 inches thick, and adjustable support feet let you fine-tune the fit. Great for betta tanks, shrimp tanks, nano aquariums, and planted setups.
BUILT-IN SURFACE SKIMMER + MULTI-STAGE FILTRATION - Unlike most small HOB filters, this one includes a floating surface skimmer that continuously draws in oily film from the water surface, keeping your tank looking crystal clear. The three-layer filter cartridge provides ample room for mechanical and bio-media filtration to trap debris, fish waste, and uneaten food. An intake sponge guard keeps small fish, fry, and shrimp safe from the intake.
ADJUSTABLE FLOW CONTROL FOR EVERY FISH TYPE - A built-in flow valve lets you dial the current from a gentle trickle to full circulation without removing the filter. Turn it down for delicate betta, shrimp, or fry that prefer calm water, or turn it up for active community fish. The waterfall-style return creates gentle surface agitation for better air exchange in your tank.
WHISPER-QUIET COPPER MOTOR & EASY RESTART - A fully copper motor pump runs at less than 30 dB, quieter than a whisper, so it won't disturb your sleep, work, or your fish. After a power outage, no need to re-prime: just plug it back in and the motor restarts on its own without adding water. Quick tip: before first use, fill the filter chamber with water before plugging in to ensure a smooth, silent start.
EASY MAINTENANCE & 2-YEAR WARRANTY - The top-access filter chamber opens in seconds for quick cartridge replacement or rinsing. Replacement filter pads are plug-and-play, no trimming or cutting needed. For best results, replace pads every 2-4 weeks. Every AQQA filter is backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty and responsive customer support. If you have any questions, our team is ready to help.
