The compact manual design provides a method for lowering and raising a trolling line to control lure depth. The downrigger features a fiberglass-injected nylon body and aluminum boom. The included mounting system supports installation on the top or side of a suitable boat deck and includes a line release. The unit comes with 100 feet of braided stainless steel wire and is recommended for use with downrigger weights under 5 pounds. One full turn of the reel retrieves approximately 1 foot of line.
