The Priming Pot is designed to facilitate priming the pump and suction line. It is not intended to prime (remove air from) the suction line. It also provides a strainer basket to trap large debris. The Priming Pot is intended for use when your pump is situated above water level. The pot is not intended for the positive pressures found when the pump is substantially below water level.

Please note that the outlet (the lower port of the pot) on the MPP-10 strainer includes one 1.5" NPT adapter intended to be used to connect the bottom outlet directly to your pump
Please note that the Inlet (the upper port of the pot) on both the MPP-10 and MPP-20 Models come with a 2” slip nut and tail piece. If you, need a different size, you'll need to purchase a reducer or adapter separately
