- WHITE MAT, BLACK MOLDING - The white mat opens a bright border around the cover art and separates it from the backing, while the black molding keeps a clean outline against a painted or papered wall.
- SOLID PINE, BLACK ON EVERY FACE - The molding is milled from solid pine, then wrapped front, sides and rear, so the finish reads identically all the way round with no brush marks built up in the corners.
- CUT FOR GRADED HOLDERS - The recess follows the outline of CGC's current-generation comic holders, so the slab seats inside the frame instead of being forced against the edges of the opening.
- OPENS FROM THE BACK BY HAND - Tabs rotate to release the back panel, which then lifts straight off. That is how the first book goes in and how every book after it comes back out. No tools involved.
- MEANT TO BE LOOKED AT - Hanging hardware is fitted for vertical wall display, so a graded book stops living in a drawer and starts being the thing visitors ask about. Comic books are not included.
