This cookbook is a great place to get unique ideas for recipes using bacon and bacon grease. Also it may provide some laughs along the way. Let me explain. I wanted to put together a collection of recipes that would utilize the bacon grease that many people save. With this in mind, I found a virtual assistant online to find and assemble 101 recipes that use bacon or bacon grease. I was excited when I received the first draft very quickly, but that excitement faded when I noticed that all of the measurements were in the metric system. That makes things difficult for those of us in the USA. So I asked that it be revised so that we could understand it. This was partially done. My virtual assistant was obviously not someone who spoke English as their first language. At this point I had a mixture of measurements and some Engrish directions, so I put it on the back burner for a while. I finally found someone to fix the measurements though, and we decided to leave some of the quirkiness in the text to make it more fun for you to read. Read more
