Ideal for aquatics ranging from small backyard ponds to large outdoor water features, this easy-to-use pond treatment adds a beautiful cobalt blue tint that complements natural rock, aquatic plant life, and nature’s surrounding landscape. The rich blue tone looks beautiful from bright sunlight through twilight. The tint helps shade water from the sun’s intense UV light, improving clarity while creating a deeper blue tone that elevates outdoor décor, helps keep water clearer, and protects your pond and fish from penetrating UV sunlight. When used with other pond products, supplies, equipment, and decorative accessories, PondTint can be used year-round for beautiful water features in warm or cold weather, spring through winter. It is particularly beneficial during hot summer months, helping water cleaner and cooler, helping clear cloudy spots while coloring the water. This treatment is quick and easy to use. Simply pour PondTint directly into the pond. For best results, apply to clear water at the base of a waterfall or near aeration equipment in a pond or fountain to encourage quicker, more even distribution throughout the pond. One ounce treats up to 1,000 gallons of water. Apply as needed to maintain your desired color intensity. To control color, if the tint is too dark, wait several minutes after applying, then perform a 20% water change to achieve a more natural color. Wearing gloves during application is recommended to help prevent skin discoloration. When used as directed, water treated with PondTint will not harm your lawn, gardens, landscape plants, pets, or aquatic animals such as fish, birds, and frogs.
