Dual-Purpose Calorimeter for Specific Heat Capacity & Electric Double Aluminum Cylinder Nickel-Chromium Heating Wire Thermal Energy
Product Information
About
This dual-function calorimeter supports two core thermodynamic quantitative experiments: measuring the specific heat capacity of solid substances and verifying the electric heat equivalent conversion relationship. Interchangeable cover plug assemblies allow quick switching between two test schemes without purchasing separate experimental equipment.
The whole set adopts double-layer aluminum cylinder structure including outer insulating cylinder and inner measuring cylinder. Aluminum material features fast uniform heat conduction and stable thermal storage performance, weighing only about 250g for easy mobile layout on experimental countertops.
Equipped with standard nickel-chromium heating resistance wire with resistance of 5±1Ω. Under rated working conditions (6V voltage, 1.7~2A current), 100ml water heated continuously for 10 minutes can achieve a temperature rise of 10℃, providing stable and repeatable data for electric heat equivalent calculation.
Complete supporting accessories include heat insulation baffle, conductive wiring rod, stirring mixer, sealing rubber plug and multiple interchangeable cover fittings. The built-in stirrer ensures uniform liquid temperature distribution during testing and reduces systematic measurement errors caused by local temperature difference.
Standardized operation and maintenance rules effectively reduce heat loss and extend service life. Fast transfer of heated test samples into the inner cylinder minimizes heat dissipation; all metal accessories need full cleaning and drying after use for sealed storage to avoid oxidation and residual liquid corrosion.
Product Description
Material: Insulated outer aluminum cylinder, precision inner aluminum measuring cylinder, metal heating and stirring accessoriesWeight: Approximately 250g per complete setPurpose: Complete two types of quantitative thermodynamic experiments: calculate the specific heat capacity of solid samples and verify the conversion equivalent relationship between electric energy and thermal energyThe complete calorimeter set is composed of outer heat insulation cylinder, fixed cover frame, inner measuring cylinder, heat shield baffle, wiring sealing plug, conductive wiring terminals, conductive connecting rod, nickel-chromium electric heating wire, sealing rubber plug, interchangeable cover plug and uniform temperature stirring mixer. For specific heat capacity measurement experiments, simply replace the heating assembly on the cover frame with the solid sealing cover plug to finish constant-temperature mixing tests. To switch to electric heat equivalent verification experiments, install the matching electric heating wire assembly on the cover frame. The interchangeable modular design simplifies test switching and improves the utilization rate of the experimental equipment.Technical requirements:Built-in heating component is nickel-chromium resistance heating wire with standard resistance value of 5±1 Ω, stable heat output without rapid resistance drift after long energized heating.Standard reference working state of heating wire: input voltage 6V, operating current 1.7~2A; when heating 100ml clean water continuously for 10 minutes, the liquid temperature can rise steadily by 10 ℃, providing standard reference data for electric heat equivalent calculation. After finishing any group of thermodynamic experiments, disassemble and fully clean the conductive wiring rod, stirring mixer and inner aluminum measuring cylinder, wipe all components completely dry, then place all fittings into the outer cylinder for classified storage.Collect and store all small matching accessories in a fixed place to prevent loss or heavy extrusion deformation of thin metal parts and sealing rubber plugs.
