Product Description
Disclaimer: Disassembly of your device is required. While many videos demonstrate this procedure online, we also provide a written guide: [Required Tools:] The included hardware requires a 2.5mm Allen wrench and a 5.5mm socket wrench to tighten the nuts. The six screws securing the steering wheel require a 4mm Allen wrench to remove. You will also need a Phillips screwdriver and a small precision screwdriver to remove the screws on the motherboard. 1. Remove the six small Phillips screws on the back of the steering wheel controller. 2. Remove the six large Allen screws in the center of the steering wheel. 3. The steering wheel can now be removed. Carefully separate it a few inches and then disconnect the motherboard connector. You can now remove the steering wheel. 4. Remove the screws securing the L2, L3, R2, and R3 buttons. Set these buttons aside; you will not need them later. 5. Remove the screws securing the motherboard, then remove the motherboard and set it aside. 6. Remove the remaining trim strip from the original steering wheel. 7. Reinstall the mainboard onto the trim strip. 8. Insert the mainboard with the trim strip back into the main steering wheel unit. 9. Use the six large hexagonal screws to install the racing steering wheel (including buttons) onto the mainboard. You're done! Please install at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage caused by improper use or installation.
