COMPATIBILITY FIRST – Compatible with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears and Craftsman garage door openers made after 1997 that already use safety reversing sensors. Not compatible with pre-1997 openers or 041A4373A sensor systems. Check the opener manual or existing part number before ordering.
REPLACEMENT REFERENCES – Designed for common 41A5034/041A5034 and 801CB-P/G801CB-P replacement applications. The paired sensor eyes work with the compatible opener’s safety system to monitor the doorway and help trigger stop/reverse behavior when the beam is interrupted.
COMPLETE 1-DOOR KIT – Includes 1 sending sensor, 1 receiving sensor, 2 mounting brackets, 2 sun shields, 5 wire connectors, 2 wingnuts, 2 1/4-20 in. round-head bolts and installation instructions. Attached sensor wires are about 19.7 in. (50 cm) long; extension wire may be needed for longer runs.
STRAIGHTFORWARD ALIGNMENT – Disconnect power before installation. Mount the sensor eyes on opposite sides of the garage door, match wire polarity, and align the lenses until the indicator lights are steady. Correct wiring and alignment are required for normal operation; this kit does not add sensor capability to an opener that was not designed for safety sensors.
